Level of difficulty - Intermediate

This drink requires some shaking and some muddling, but don’t be scared off by this. Add the rosemary to your glass, and using a wooden spoon (or muddler if you have one) gently press down on the rosemary and twist several times to release the oils. That’s the first step done!

Ingredients

(Serves 2)

1 sprig rosemary
⅔ cup pomegranate juice (100% pomegranate juice, not concentrate or cocktail)
2 teaspoons lime juice
½ scant teaspoon apple cider vinegar
1-1 ½ cup seltzer or alcohol-free sparkling wine (½ cup per cup)
Ice

Directions

  1. Muddle the rosemary in the bottom of a cocktail shaker for about 15 seconds

  2. Add the pomegranate juice, lime juice and apple cider vinegar and ice

  3. Shake for 15 - 20 seconds (or until your shaker starts to leak like mine!)

  4. Strain into two small wine glasses or champagne flutes

  5. Top with seltzer or premium alcohol-free sparkling wine (about ½ cup to ¾ cup per serving)

  6. Garnish with rosemary and pomegranate seeds (optional)

Enjoy!
