Dry July Day 2 Devilishly Detoxifying

Dry July Devilishly Detoxifying

Day 2 of Dry July! What to drink when you’re not drinking? Apple cider vinegar can help detox AND make your drink less of a mocktail and more of a cocktail!

What To Drink When You’re Not Drinking?

Go Ahead & Tart Some’zing Non Alcoholic Cocktail

Apple cider vinegar is not only a great way to detox from a weekend of binging, but it’s ALSO a fantastic way to replicate the zing you’re used to in a regular cocktail. There are so many ways to use it, but here is an easy non alcoholic cocktail recipe from the Sarah Kate archives.

“I first made this drink in June 2020, because I was trying to crack the code on how to make a non alcoholic drink taste more like a boozy drink, without the alcohol. I’ve refined it since and here is the latest version!”

Apple Cider Vinegar Mocktail

Ingredients:

¼ tsp apple cider vinegar
1 oz of lime juice
2 tsp maple syrup
Low sugar tonic water

Building the drink:

Add the first three ingredients to a tumbler with ice and stir to combine. Top with tonic water and enjoy!

Dry July Success Tip: Keep calm, and carry a water bottle

Dry July keep calm and carry a water bottle

Really, we all say we’re going to drink more water, but actually do it now. Go right now, and fill up that water bottle. Don’t be lazy. Think of it as a fresh start … drinking plenty of water today will meet the most basic reason why any of us drink anything – to stay hydrated…because believe it or not, drinking wine does not help quench your thirst. It’s actually extremely dehydrating. So when you feel like you want to grab a cold glass of Pinot Grigio, please grab your water bottle instead and give it a huge chug.
