Best Non-Alcoholic Wines Under $25 in 2026

A review of my favourite non-alcoholic wines at an affordable price (and some of the worst low-cost dealcoholized wines to avoid)

It’s one thing to find a good non-alcoholic wine, but when it’s under $25, it’s even better! Especially in these times of economic restraint - dumping expensive drinks down the drain is no bueno. So, these are my HOLY GRAIL dealcoholized wines that taste good, are low in sugar and friendly on the wallet when you’re in the mood for a dry night.

I’ve tried hundreds of bottles of non-alcoholic wine so you don’t have to and here are twelve of my very affordable tasty favorites that I think are worth keeping on rotation.

With this list, you won’t be dumping out expensive bottles of bad non-alcoholic wine and will still be able to include non-alcoholic wine in your weekly budget!

Why is non-alcoholic wine so expensive?

The best non-alcoholic wine in the world is Zeronimo Leonis Blend at $70 but I know that’s not really in everyone’s weekly budget. For a lot of people, even $20-$25 is mind boggling for a wine without alcohol so let’s address the elephant in the room. Why is non-alcoholic wine so expensive?

Imagine making a really nice traditional wine and all the labour that goes into that, and then having to put the wine through another process to remove the alcohol. That also involves a winemaker and labour and electricity and other production costs.

My approach? When I stopped drinking, the cost never bothered me because I just wanted something that felt like wine in my wine glass. I wanted the experience - not the alcohol. With so many dealcoholized wines on the market now, I try and really enjoy the craftsmanship and flavours in each bottle like we might with higher-end booze. At the end of the day, I’d rather pay $25 for a bottle of alcohol-free wine than drink sparkling water. I hope you can try that too!

WHITE WINES UNDER $25

1. Giesen 0.0% Sauvignon Blanc

This is one of the most popular non-alcoholic white wines, because it tastes so dang close to the real thing. I loved the nice balance of fruit and acidity and those grassy herbal notes that we all love to savour in our sauvi b wines. If you’re sitting outside on a patio in the hot summer sun, this will be refreshing and won’t leave with a day-drinking headache!

2. Wander + Found Chardonnay

If you’re a chardonnay lover like me, you’ll welcome the familiar buttery but crisp profile of this German white. It’s complex and has a medium body so there’s some weight to it and it doesn’t feel thin or weak. The bright acidity and hint of minerality leaves you wanting more. It’s just a lovely all around non-alcoholic chardonnay that tastes like a real wine!

3. Bolle Chardonnay

If you like European-style chardonnay, you will enjoy Bolle Chardonnay. It’s crisp and bright, and unlike California-style chards, there isn’t a hint of butter. The parent-wine is fermented in stainless steel so there isn’t any oak but it has notes of fresh green apple, bright acidity and lovely hint of refreshing minerality. It’s not very complex but it’s zingy and fun and perfect for a

4. Leitz Eins Zwei Zero Riesling

Don’t be afraid of rieslings! This is one of the best non-alcoholic white wines in the category and yet it’s priced so affordably, you don’t expect the quality you get. This is a German-made riesling from the Rhinegau region and it’s not sweet or sugary like you might expect from a cheap riesling. It’s soft on the palate, but there’s a beautiful, crisp minerality with hints of petrol and citrus. It drinks like a good quality German riesling and I’ve paired it successfuly with both sushi and seafood!

RED WINES UNDER $25

5. Saint Viviana Cabernet Sauvignon

Saint Viviana Cabernet Sauvignon has that elusive "dryness" and those grippy tannins I’ve been searching for, and in a sub-$25 bottle to boot. I love the juicy black cherry and currant notes, and I noticed a distinct hint of oakiness that makes it feel much more expensive than it is. I think this is the most dependable everyday red I’ve found and I always keep a few bottles on hand for weeknight dinners.

6. Oddbird GSM

If you love the "big fruit" energy of a Grenache-style wine, this is a fantastic option under $25. Oddbird GSM is a real fan favorite in online forums with people looking for a full-bodied non alcoholic red. In my opinion it lacks the tannic dryness and complexity I’m looking for, but it’s undeniably well-made and tastes very similar to the fruity and bold GSM blends from the south of france. I highly recommend this one if you’re just dipping your toe into the category and want an easy-drinking option.

7. Newblood Non Alcoholic Red Blend

This is easily the best new non-alcoholic red I tasted in 2025. For under $25, you’re getting that big, juicy, peppery shiraz flavor that Australian shiraz is known for. It has a touch of oak and some tannins and really drinks like a smooth, good quality wine without the alcohol. There is so much flavour in this non-alcoholic wine which makes it a perfect pairing for any food with red sauces or umami like pizza, pasta or entrees with tomato-based sauces.

8. Lautus Savvy Red

Lautus Savvy Red is another hidden gem amongst non alcoholic wines. It has a perfect balance of dryness and fruit making this an extremely well composed wine. You'll find blackberry, oak and a hint of black currant on the palette and gentle tannins. It’s a well-rounded and reasonably priced wine that doesn’t taste like cheap grape juice and sometimes that’s enough of a win!

SPARKLING WINES UNDER $25

9. Wander + Found Non-Alcoholic Sparkling Cuvée Blanc

This is a great wallet-friendly non-alcoholic sparkling wine that really sizzles. It’s a perfect blend of tart acidity and just a hint of sweetness, with nice tight bubbles and a creamy mouthfeel. It’s made in Germany at a 200-year old vineyard and the quality and precision show. I’ve always loved this bottle because it’s great quality for the price!

10. Mionetto Alcohol-Removed Sparkling Wine

This is a zippy and bright non alcoholic bubbly for only $14 that can be easily found at a wine or liquor store near you! It has loads of bright acidity and is quite dry with a hint of sweetness. There’s not a lot of complexity, but the acid backbone keeps it crisp and elegant with notes of peach, apple and cranberry. It’s delicious and affordable! Great in a non-alcoholic aperol spritz and an ideal non alcoholic sparkling wine for mimosas.

ROSÉ WINES UNDER $25

11. Giesen 0.0% Rosé

This is by far the category winner for still rose wines. The winemaking techniques at Giesen really preserved the rosé experience and it really scratched my itch for a fresh and bright summer wine. The aroma is floral mingling with peach orchard at harvest and a hint of strawberry. I liked the nice bright acidity and medium body. It has a slightly creamy finish which is a nice counterpoint to the tart middle. This is a lovely and refreshing dealcoholized rosé, perfect for a brunch or spring luncheon.

12. Leitz Eins Zwei Zero Sparkling Rose

Leitz sparkling rosé is elegant, structured and fresh. This delicious alcohol-free sparkling rosé, which also comes in cans, is made with 100% German pinot noir. Strawberry notes are the star of the show, but balanced so nicely with a crisp and refreshing acidity that leads to a pleasant dry finish. I like to throw a few of the cans in my beach bag or purse for a mindful option while I’m enjoying life on the go.

NON-ALCOHOLIC WINES UNDER $25 TO AVOID

Grocery Store Wines

Most non-alcoholic wines at big box grocery stores will have grocery store pricing - you’ll think it’s a steal at $15 or under, but most of them are absolutely awful (with the exception of Giesen). Here are my worst offenders.

  1. Ariel - Ariel has been around for a long time, and they are very low quality. They are an industrialized product so they use bulk grape juice and then dealcoholize it. And then add lots of sugar and flavours back in. I would not trust any of the online reviews that say these are worth drinking because it is NOT!

  2. Fre - with the exception of their Chardonnay, if you’re drinking Fre you’re drinking a cup full of grape juice. Their red wine tastes like cooked grapes, and their rosé tastes like drinking a cup full of sugar. Their alcohol-free Chardonnay gets a pass because it’s oaky and buttery and although it’s full of sugar, kind of resembles a Chardonnay.

  3. VinZero or SinZero - please don’t be fooled by the branding; both are available on Amazon and they’re just short of tasting like kosher wine.
