Best Non-Alcoholic Champagnes and Sparkling Wines of 2025
/Non alcoholic sparkling wines are popular, and for good reason - the signature effervescence we expect from sparkling wine adds a note of authenticity that can be harder for still wines to replicate. Although we have yet to find a true non alcoholic champagne (to be a genuine alcohol free champagne, the wine must be grown and bottled in the Champagne region of France), we did sample dozens of and found one excellent sparkler after another, including budget friendly brut, an alcohol free sparkling dupe, and the unique taste of an Austrian vintage that blew us away. The diverse taste profiles incorporated citrus, strawberry, peach, pear, apple and more. There is truly a option for every taste. Here are some of our favorite alcohol free sparkling options for you as we head into 2025 - no booze required.
*Note: 'alcohol free wine' or 'zero alcohol wine' means 0.0% alcohol - this article covers non-alcoholic dealcoholized wines that are less than 0.5% alcohol with the exception of Prima Pave which is completely alcohol-free.

Tasting notes:
Wolffer Estates is a sustainable vineyard in upstate New York, and they’ve released a fantastic non-alcoholic sparkling called Spring In A Bottle - the sleeper hit of 2024/2025. It’s such a dynamite non-alcoholic sparkling wine, which is no surprise because the winery has sourced it from the Moselle Valley in Germany. 5. Prima Pave Grand Cuvee
Best for: if you want a truly 0.0% wine that tastes great
Tasting Notes:
The difference between this wine and the others is that it’s 0.0% alcohol, rather than 0.5% alcohol. This seems like a small difference, but when comparing taste, believe it or not it does matter especially if you’re pregnant or can’t have alcohol for religious or medical reasons. As a completely alcohol-free wine, the Prima Pave Grand Cuvee is truly delightful. It’s crisp and slightly dry, but not sweet at all. It as a very tiny hint of cooked grape, which is always a possibility with non-alcoholic wines, but it doesn’t detract from the experience. I liked this one a lot better than the Prima Pave blanc de blanc. The bubbles are nice and small and elegant. A great option for an alcohol-free bubbly!
You can find Prima Pave wines through primapave.com.
6. Libby Non-Alcoholic Sparkling White
Best for: when you want something unexpected
Tasting Notes:
This California-made non-alcoholic sparkling wine is a real treat! Its taste profile is totally unexpected and while it doesn’t dupe a ‘champagne’ specifically, it’s a really fun option that tastes enough like a sparkling wine to pass for it. It’s a nice blend with notes of pear nectar, and vanilla, with a bit of a floral and aromatic essence. It is slightly on the sweet side, so be prepared for that, but the great news is the sugar level is actually quite low at 4g per 5oz glass. There is no added sugar here. I loved drinking this and will definitely be reaching for another bottle when spring and summer come and I’m heading out to a picnic or the beach.

7. Oddbird Blanc de Blanc
Best for: French cremant fans
Tasting notes:
Oddbird Blanc de Blanc is unique in this price range because it offers an experience that feels quietly luxurious yet modern and inclusive, ideal for any occasion where you’d reach for traditional bubbly in a very understated way. Oddbird Blanc de Blanc is a testament to the potential of non-alcoholic wines, delivering complexity, elegance, and the kind of experience that allows you to forget there’s no alcohol involved.
8. Wander + Found Sparkling Cuvee Blanc
Best for: Those with champagne taste on a budget
Tasting notes:
This 95 point wine uses a blend of grapes including chardonnay, pinot gris and pinot blanc (the word cuvee, usually used by champagne producers, literally means a blend or batch). The aroma hints at orchard fruit and apple. On the palate, you'll taste bright green apple, tart gooseberry and citrus. The use of chardonnay grapes is evident without being overpowering (this is not an alcohol free sparkling chardonnay), making for a complex and elevated drink.

Best for: if you’re looking for a low sugar option for sips and chips
Tasting Notes:
This is a great low sugar alcohol-free sparkling chardonnay, and has been an award-winning option since it launched in 2021. It’s still a classic! Widely available, it’s crisp and has lovely green apple notes and fun elegant bubbles that make this a great bubbly to pop open if you’re sober curious.

10. St. Regis De alcoholised Sparkling Brut
Best for: Those who love the taste of a slightly sweeter non alcoholic sip
Tasting notes:
This alcohol removed sparkling brut from St. Regis is an accessible and refreshing zero proof fizz that you'll want to try a glass of this season. One of our top picks from this brand, it has a delightful creamy texture and the taste of soft peach flavors balanced with light acidity. The bubbles are fun and give it a freshness that balances the slight sweet flavor. We expect you'll find this grocery store brand a satisfying alcohol free sparkling option.

11. Joyus Non-alcoholic Sparkling Wine
Best for: Sipping at a cocktail party over charcuterie
Tasting notes:
This non alcoholic sparkling wine (we suspect made with chardonnay grapes from California) is another delicious option from Joyus, so good that it might be mistaken for the real thing. The aroma and palate reveals delightful fruity flavors of apricot and stone fruit, accompanied by a subtle suggestion of tropical fruit, perhaps pineapple. With gentle sweetness and creamy bubbles, it’s a treat to drink and would pair beautifully with food like salty meats and cheeses or the flavors of savoury hors d’oevres at a cocktail soiree.
