A Zero Proof Shortcut With Non Alcoholic Ready To Drinks
Making non alcoholic drinks doesn’t have to be complicated, and we love shortcuts as much as anyone else does. Instead of buying a full bottle of non alcoholic whiskey to make this cocktail, we took a shortcut and are using a pre-mixed 0.0% alcohol whiskey cola called AB0VE. It’s one of our favourite products because it’s so full of flavour and replicates the same bite as a true whiskey cola.
There are quite a few ingredients in this non alcoholic cocktail, but it’s fairly easy to pull together. If you don’t have access to All The Bitters Non Alcoholic Bitters, don’t worry, the recipe will still taste great without it!
Activated Charcoal for Black Halloween Drinks
We’ve added activated charcoal to the recipe to make it black and spooky, but you don’t have to include this. Activated charcoal is easy to order on Amazon, and doesn’t add any flavour to your cocktail. If it’s not mixed properly it can be somewhat gritty, so use sparingly in shaken recipes. A little goes a LONG way.
Hocus Pocus Halloween Mocktail
Ingredients
- 3 oz(ish) AB0VE 0.0% Whiskey Cola
- 1 oz lemon juice
- 1.5 droppers of All The Bitters New Orleans
- 1 tbsp egg whites
- 2.5 oz tart cherry juice
- 1/4 tsp of activated charcoal powder
Instructions
- Slowly pour the chilled AB0VE Whiskey Cola to a highball or Collins glass filled with ice.
- Add the next five ingredients to a cocktail shaker and dry shake for 10 seconds to froth the egg white.
- Add ice to the shaker and shake again for a few seconds just to chill.
- Strain into the glass and serve immediately.
Notes
**Be careful to keep the shaker sealed while shaking as egg white is foamy. Try using a towel around the shaker to prevent any spillage.
