What To Drink When You’re Not Drinking?

Our drink of the day is called the Strawberry Smash and we think it’s the perfect way to celebrate summer and day 8 of Dry July!

We love making this mouthwatering, summery strawberry smash with Canadian brand Sobrii but any alcohol free gin works.

To make it all you have to do is smash some strawberries in the bottom of a glass, add lime juice, a tiny bit of simple syrup, an ounce or two of the Sobrii Gin. Add ice and top with soda water.

Dry July Success Tip: Sobbing Into a Pillow Is Totally Normal

Pick up that new sparkly notebook, or your sketchbook and really connect with how you feel. What are you noticing? Are you cranky, edgy, overly sad? It happens when you’re detoxing and remapping your brain. Try and remember the positive experiences – maybe more energy, less anxiety, better sleep – as well as the negative ones – possibly feeling edgy, bored or frustrated. While we are confident that the positives far outweigh any negatives in the long run, it’s important to acknowledge your experience of both, especially at the beginning of your sober curious journey. 

Tip: Edison once famously said: “I have not failed. I've just found 10,000 ways that won't work.” Have you found some things that won’t work for you? Good! Take note of those - you’re now closer to figuring out what will!
