Tinto de Verano: An easy sangria style drink with non-alcoholic red wine

Tinto de Verano is more of a refreshing summer drink, but for anyone watching their sugar intake, this is a great non-alcoholic option with very little added sugar. A juicy non-alcoholic red wine like Luminara Napa Red Blend (for instance) is absolutely delicious but it has 8g of sugar per glass. Cut that in half, and mix it with a low-sugar or no-sugar citrus soda and you have a Spanish take on the wine spritz or a simple sangria.

Ingredients

1 bottle of chilled non-alcoholic red wine (Lautus Savvy Red, Noughty Rouge or another similar juicy red)

2 cups chilled Fresca or no-sugar lemon/lime soda

All The Bitters Orange Bitters

5-6 grapefruit slices

Preparation

Add the wine and Fresca to a pitcher and stir together.

Add ice and 1 grapefruit slice to each of the wine glasses, and distribute the mixture evenly.

**This mixture tastes even better when prepared and chilled a few hours in advance.
