    Anything Hekate bartenders serve up will be delicious, and there is something for every tastebud whether you want a gin and tonic or something more complicated.

    The Swan Room

    The Swan Room is an iconic cocktail bar located in the bespoke Nine Orchard hotel. Its menu features an expansive cocktail program, rare wines, and indulgent offerings curated by chef Ignacio Mattos. It's a sophisticated destination with sophisticated non-alcoholic cocktails.

    The Swan Room serves some pretty incredible non-alcoholic options, using spirits like Almave and elixirs like Aplos to craft some truly elevated cocktails, just without alcohol. The highlight for us was the Chinola Mule, something akin to a mix between a Tijuana mule and a margarita. Stunning and worth the visit and the price.

    The “Pearnicillin” uses one of our favourite non-alcoholic spirits called Feragaia, a Scottish-made elixer using botanicals from the Highlands. It’s a delightful mix of pear, ginger, honey, and lemon, and is a real luxury to imbibe on while enjoying a steak (because no-one wants a Shirley Temple with their main course).

    Located inside the iconic The Carlyle, Bemelmans has been a much-loved establishment by New Yorkers since its inception. Its lore includes connections to literary and musical elite and many of their cocktails have playful names as an homage.

    The thing that stands out at Bemelmans is they use Ritual Tequila Alternative for several of their drinks, but you can ask for a regular margarita and replace the regular tequila with the Ritual and it will be an experience.

    The non-alcoholic drinks here are exceptional. Thankfully, this esteemed cocktail bar uses real non-alcoholic spirits and makes a snap-pea gimlet that will knock your socks off. It’s unique and bespoke just like the hotel and bar.

    Jac’s on Bond

    A fun, cool NoHo hangout located in the basement of an historic townhouse on Bond with easy-going vibes and a welcoming unstuffy atmosphere.

    Jac’s on Bond has gone all in on Ritual Non-Alcoholic Spirits Alternatives. Their entire menu uses Ritual for drinks from their ‘nohito’ to their mockarita. It’s a hefty menu of options and a really exciting sign of things to come from hospitality when it comes to mocktails.

    The bar manager or mixologist who designed the mocktail menu really understood the assignment. Elevated non-alcoholic cocktails are complicated and embrace the true potential of using a non-alcoholic spirits. Our favourite was the Picante, a mocktail using Almave tequila alternative in their creative take on a watermelon margarita….but better.

    Jean’s is a go-to destination for the fashion crowd, and known for it’s not-so-secret secret club in the basement that you need a giant cookie to get entry to. They have some great cocktails, both alcoholic and non-alcoholic, and its a prime space for people watching.

    Vogue writer Micaela English says the ‘no-groni’ at Jean’s is the best in the city, and we’ll have to take her word for it. It uses the cult-favourite Ghia mixed with Amass and grape syrup (as the stand-in for the vermouth). Delightful!
