Bonjour! If you’ve ever been to Montreal you’ve most likely experienced the fun and lively nightlife on offer in this European-style city. It’s a city for people that like cocktails and good wine! If you’re a non-drinker, what are your options? Although MindfulBar in Montreal never really came to fruition, and Cafe Coquetel closed this past April, there are still some hidden gems on the Montreal mocktail bar circuit. Drinks sans alcool can be found at more and more places, and particularly non-alcoholic craft beer. Here are the top places we found in Montreal to enjoy a mocktail and la vie en Montreal!

Bisou Bisou
Address: 416 R. Saint-Vincent, Montréal, QC H2Y 1E6
Social: @barbisoubisou
Bar Bisou Bisou is a Mediterranean-inspired cocktail bar with a menu full of aperitifs both low-ABV and no-ABV. The founders wanted to create a space that offers a great range of drinks for everyone, including people who do not drink or who drink less.
Must Try Mocktails
Bisou Bisou doesn't carry many non-alcoholic spirits, but the ‘sans alcool’ cocktail list is mouthwatering. We could even go so far as to call this a mocktail bar, as their four spirit free drinks on offer use elevated ingredients in bespoke combinations for the utmost in sophistication. The Giorgio speaks to us with its use of Stappi Italian bitter soda and its salty effervescence. They also have Martini Vibrante by the glass, we would just suggest asking them to serve it on ice, and top it with soda water.

Bisou Bisou ALSO makes their own non-alcoholic ready-to-drink line called Fin Soda, in four ‘cocktail’ flavours.
W Montreal - Living Room Tapas

W Montreal is a vibe. It’s got lounges, restaurants, terraces and a speakeasy all under one roof. If you don’t live in Montreal, this is definitely the place to stay. If you do live here, it’s a fantastique option for food, drinks and entertainment.
Must Try Mocktails
The W Montreal offers three elevated zero proof cocktails and Peroni 0.0 as their beer option. The Miami No Vice is truly one of a kind - it mixes the under-whelming Seedlip Spice with coconut and hibiscus for a south Florida vacation vibe.

Atwater Cocktail Club
Address: 512 Atwater Ave, Montreal, Quebec H4C 2G5
Social: @atwatercocktailclub
If you love dark, sexy cocktail vibes then the Atwater Cocktail Club is for you. It’s been voted one of the Top 50 bars in North America for a reason. They are very serious about cocktails and mocktails here. The ‘underground’ speakeasy feeling make this a must-visit mocktail bar. We really love they truly practice inclusive hospitality - their 0% ABV cocktails are integrated right into their full cocktail menu with a ‘biere sans alcool’ section below.
Must Try Mocktails
The Atwater ‘drinks sans alcool’ are super cool. They make an Americano with non-alcoholic vermouth, but the coolest drink is their Jitterbug Fizz. The combination of coffee and grapefruit takes the mocktail idea to another level, and reminds us of Billows & Thieves, a high-end zero proof cocktail recipe from Julia Bainbridge’s Good Drinks book. You’ll enjoy it if you need a boost during an evening out.

Modavie
Address: 1 Saint-Paul St W, Montreal, Quebec H2Y 1Y6

Modavie is an eclectic jazz bistro-bar that’s been on the Montreal scene for a long time. It serves traditional French bistro food in a cozy atmosphere. Sip on a mocktail while listening to local jazz artists every night of the week!
Must Try Mocktails
The mocktails at Modavie are the standard mocktails you’ve come to expect from a restaurant, but the devil is in the details. They use fresh ingredients and juices instead of flavored syrups to craft a tasty drink you can enjoy in a fun environment. They also carry Carlsberg 0.0% Lager which is not the best non-alcoholic beer, but it’s also not the worst.

The alcohol-free list at The Distillery No. 1 is a true surprise. They make two non-alcoholic cocktails with Noroi aperitif (a made-in-Quebec brand), carry two premium non-alcoholic craft beers and have Gruvi Dry Secco by the bottle. There is definitely something for anyone who is looking for an alcohol-free evening in Montreal. Their Amalfi Spritz is truly appealing, with the blend of Noroi aperitif, Martini Floreale aperitif and a house-made Triple Sec syrup.
